Curious, innovative and trying to get childishly blown away by stuff. Very interested in interacting and collaborating with likeminded folks. At the same time, also a husband and father of two, trying to not lose myself in the detailed planning that has become my life.

Ph.D. with Henrik Bruus at the Technical University of Denmark (2012) and Stephen Quake at Stanford University, followed by post doc with Ala Trusina at University of Copenhagen’s Niels Bohr Institute. “Recently” jumped to industry to focus on more user-centric, applied research and development; first with COMSOL (virtual prototyping and simulation, I did acoustics) and now Maersk.
Prior to this I obtained B.Sc. (2006) and M.Sc. (2009) in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (thesis work in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk Device R&D), spent a year as a Fulbright research fellow/visiting student in biological fluid mechanics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During studies for B.Sc. dedicated 15-20 hours a week to basketball at the highest level in Denmark (semi-pro) with Hørsholm.
